Service & Leadership 2013 DAY ONE: A. Choose TWO people from below who are considered leaders. Which link (one, two or three) for EACH of your TWO leaders selected resonate with you? WHY?

Take these two surveys & add the results to your S & L 2013 wiki. Jung Typology Test it's 72 items long (whew!) - enjoy!

Share the following information on YOUR wiki: *WHO (who or what group or organization is the recipient of your efforts) - convince us that your group is a worthy cause! *WHY do they need your/our help *HOW could they benefit? *WHAT is your plan of action - how will you get the school AND our community in Fairburn involved? *WHAT services/items do we need to donate *WHEN should this project take place to maximize your efforts? *WHERE does this service take place (can it occur more than once? Is this an ongoing effort?) ADD LINKS to support & explain the SEVEN areas addressed above.....

STEP ONE: After you have chosen an issue that concerns you, see if you can answer these questions: 1. What service project should I do that benefits the MOST people? OR 2. What service project might make the biggest diffrence?
STEP TWO: 1. Who is your SPONSOR? (parent, adult, leader) This person will help YOU give your service project credibility with other adults and the permissions that you might need.
STEP THREE: 1. What are they requesting on their websites (time, donations of clothes, etc.)?
STEP FOUR: 1. Who do you need to get permission from? What ADULTS need to grant you permission before you start your service project? Why? Choose & complete A or B.

As we wrap up this part of our seminar - review the following characteristics of leadership (see below) and share how you exhibit this in YOUR life.
PART ONE: How are TWO (minimum) of your 5 leaders MOST like you & why? Cite at least THREE facts/similarities per leader (SIX sentences minimum). What links/resources/information can you add to show WHY they are leaders? (THREE links minimum & TWO sentences per LINK)
PART TWO: Read the following: HI! I know that you are what a leader looks like...can YOU help ME develop into a LEADER too? How would you help this person who sees YOU as a leader, develop into the leader that they want to BECOME? Address any SEVEN of those areas and EXPLAIN WHY those areas chosen are ESSENTIAL traits for LEADERSHIP (two sentences OR a link (video) OR picture - ANY combination of any two PER trait).
